Is it true that a pregnancy test no matter how faint the result if postive it's postive? (Will add details if asked)

Faint line for making it postive but dark line for making it negative as referring to + sign

yes a positive no matter how faint will only show up if you have the hormone in your body that you only have when youre pregnant.all of my tests were faint because i tested early and the earlier you are the less of the hormone you have.therefore the line will be faint.

Yes, I think that's true. How late are you? Maybe if you're just a few days late, there isn't enough of the pregnancy hormone in your urine yet to give an absolute positive result. If I were you, I'd wait another couple of days and then take another test.

Yes, you can get a false negative but not a false positive because your body has to be producing hcg for you to show a positive, the only exception is miscarriage or if you are on hormone replacement therapy. Hope this helps

Yes, the test measures something that is only there during pregnancy. (an excpetion would be taking a test immediatly after a late term abortion-- it may not have all left your system--but that does not seem to be the case)

A positive is positive for sure.

Yes you can not have a false positive but can have a false negative.
