They have put the cost of fuel up under the guise of increased oil prices, yet, the price of oil has come down, this is deliberate and blatent fraud and pecunary deception in order to obtain advantage, under the Theft act of which they are clearly guilty.

Given we all have the same energy increases, i suggest you get a group of people together who also feel aggrieved about this problem, then issue an indictment on the energy company for fraud, deception and malfeasance (Wrongful conduct by a public official), breach of duty of care and public negligence for knowingly over charging without due cause.

So call you local press and at least enrol them into this public scandal in the name of public interest.

Good luck and dont keep the midnight oil burning ;)

What say thy?

The reason is also that most are being supported by the Government and the people that voted these assholes in should demand that ALL politicians and voted in public figures be held ACCOUNTABLE for their misleading and fraudulent doings, no matter how small the crime or misdoing is...This will only happen when all the people stand up to the jerks in power that we put in there do as they are supposed to do for US not the big oil and gas companies and fill the pockets af politicians that vote behind closed doors wher they do most of the dirty work. Even in small towns where the mayors do the behind door clandestine meetings should not be allowed..All public money funded or empowerment from public representatives should be publicly open for anyone to see and hear no matter what it is. This would stop the majority of frauds and also be able to see where the money goes and to WHO. The next thing should be is that all companies should be open for scrutiny where the owners are known and not a numbered company that gets the big deals and all employees should be listed from the bottom to the top as well as the major MYSTERY shareholders too to prevent thejobs and funds going to ONES OWN family in the event of a major price increase. This is the only way, when a person is being scrutinized they usually keep their nose clean. The ones that are caught should be imprisoned as they are doing a crime within a position of trust. the companies that rip off the public should lose all rights and become public, and then go after the dirty politicians that allowed it to happen, and you will usually see that they are all getting their pockets filled along with their gas tanks too. Not just in the oil and gas fields, but in the construction and building fields too, look what is going on with secret votes to big builders and the road builders etc...Look and see who passed the votes and then check who got a new house, cottage or boat etc and then tell me that it is all above board. A group of public scrutineers should be appointed from THE PUBLIC, not appointed by friends of friends in high places to observe and check all major contracts and deals that the public will be affected by, and to report same to the newspapers for you and I to see. These scrutineers are to be changed every 2-3 tears and are also under the same rules as the publicly appointed politician that they are accountable for any wrongdoings. Maybe the world needs a scrutineer to watch us all.

No one is forcing you to buy fuel. You have three alternatives.
1. Own the energy company. Buy the stock.
2. Use alternative energy sources such as wind, solar, bio-diesel. (Best option)
3. Try walking or cycling rather than driving the SUV to get a jug of milk at the corner store.

The price of fuel is too low at present to encourage a serious change in lifestyle and switch to alternative energy sources. Keep in mind that the US has domestic oil reserves equivalent to 3 years of consumption at current rates. In the future oil is going to cost more and come from politically less stable regions of the world. If you expect cheap fuel, you are living in a fool's paradise.

The reason why the energy companies defraud the public is because there is money to be made. There is no other reason for them to cheat us.
