You can add/replace larger capacity sticks up to the total capacity that the computer will handle,.i.e.three 128MB sticks=384MB,three 256 sticks=768MB,one 512MB and two 256MB sticks=1024MB,etc.

Check the web site of the manufacturer of the PC. It will tell you the memory limits of the PC. It is different for each make and model. If the slots are already full, then you will have to remove one (or more) or the existing chips and replace with a larger chips (such as taking out at 128mb chip and replacing with a 256mb). The manufacturer's web site will have specifics on what speed and type of memory you will need for the PC.

It depends on the motherboard and processor. Look at the website for your computer manufacturer, put in your computer model and it will give you the maximum RAM memory your computer will handle. If it will only take 512K, then whether you have three slots or not, that's all the computer will take. How much do you have now?

u have 2 get one or more of your RAMs from the computer and put instead of them others but with larger storage like...
if your three RAMs storage is: 128,128,64 then u can increase your memory by replacing the 64 one by 128 or replacing 128 by 256 or 512 and so on......
i hope that helps u..
