Well I don't know what you are listening to that you are sick of, but a really good CD with a great collection of songs is "The Last Kiss" soundtrack. You could also try the "Garden State" soundtrack. Both have great songs and a good variety. As far as current music, I like Snow Patrol and Death Cab for Cutie. Some classic music to enjoy would be Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. If you want something to really get involved with and a huge variety try Phish. Some other personal favorites are Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam, and Simon and Garfunkel. It is also fun to listen to musicals if you like that, the best being Rent or Miss Saigon. Good luck! There is a lot out there, one thing to do is go to your local library and check out some CD's that interest you.

try paolo nutini, these streets. and then try some older stuff, like the jam, the clash. I really like jimmy eat world too. paul weller. if you don't like current music, then go back and listen to some older stuff. If u have a favourite song or band, try tapping it into www.pandora.com. This site will generate a personal "radio station" for you and play music you will like. it's a good way to find music that you like that you haven't heard of before! Hope this is helpful to you :-)

I like this new song....the lyrics is great...i will paste it for you:

I'd Rather
Luther Vandross

I thought some time alone
was what we really needed
You said this time would hurt more than it helps,
But I couldn't see that
I thought this was the end
Of a beautiful story
and so I left the one I loved at home to be alone, oh
And I tried and found out this one thing is true
That I'm nothing without you.
I know better now and I've had a change of heart.
Bridge:
I'd rather have bad times with you,
Than good times with someone else.
I'd rather be beside you in a storm than safe and warm by myself
I'd rather have hard times together than to have it easy apart,
I'd rather have the one who hold my heart.
oh
And then I met someone
and thought he could replace you
We got along just fine but wasted time
because he was not you
We had alot of fun
Though we knew we were fakin
Love was not impressed with our connection built on lies
on lies
So I'm here cause I found this one thing is true
that I'm nothing without you
I know better now and I've had a change of heart
Bridge:

Who holds my heart
I can't blame you if you turn away
from me like I done you
I can only prove things I say with time
Please be mine
Bridge: 2xs

Well, I'm a metal-head, but I can still reccomend a few tunes.

I can't stop listening to the following at the moment:

Queen: Don't stop me now (great feel good song!)
The Clash: Should I stay or should I go
Status Quo: In the Army now

try some older stuff, if your into emo i would recomend Pulp and the Cure.

the calssics are what makes today's music after all, if thers a particular band you really like you can always look into their influences as they should reflect the band its self.

Personally i would recoment Placebo, and anything of their 5th studio album meds
