If its painful at all then your not inserting it right. Follow the instructions on the leaflet inside the box carefully. It shouldnt hurt inserting and removing the tampon.

If its hurting to take them out then you have either not inserted it properly or your menstrual flow might be weak therfor u need to get a smaller tampon for smaller flow.. ie:tampax mini.. If thats till doesnt help, try a little vaseline or ky jelly on the tampon.. it will then insert better.. x

dont pull straight down, pull at an angle down and out.. also if its that bad,, just invest in some KY jelly and rub a bit in the entrance zone prior to removing the tampon..

you could try using a smaller tampon, you should take a few big breaths before hand and relax, as if you are tense, your vagina will tighten and make it more difficult.
if it still hurts then i wold consult your gp.... it should still be painful

It's painful to remove a tampon when it is not yet full or saturated.

Relax and take a breath, and putt it out slowly.
It shouldn't hurt at all, though. Maybe you are putting it in wrong?
