Go to Google AdSense (http://adsense.google.com) and set up an account. The process will walk you through what kind of ads you want and let you pick the ad format. Once you pick the format, Google provides a code that you copy/paste into the HTML of your site. It usually takes about an hour or so for the ads to show up.

You can either download AFES, which will give you Google, Alta, Yahoo, and others. Or you can go to www.google.com then when you get on their main screen right click and press short cut to desk top. Down loading AFES is alot better though!
