strange question...
what are the little 'dots' of lights that can be seen when a spirit is there.. hope this makes sense, has been annoying me for days!!

Orbs are sometimes 'spectral visitation'-but the majority are caused by dust or moisture. I've been on a few ghost hunts and we've seen evidence of both-the best orb we ever caught was actually blue,square shaped and had a tail!

yep it happens in real life. I am a paranormal investigator and have caught many things on tape.
they are floating masses of energy called orbs unfortunately many groups call anything that floats around and shines an orb. when in actuality most the items are just dust floating around and a little thing called lens flare a refraction of the incoming light caused by the camera lens . but there are groups out there that acually are not in it for the $$ or the ratings for their tv show. that rule out countless specks of dust and lens flare.

They're called orbs by the paranormal community, but are in fact caused by reflections of light off of dust or liquid on the lens, or from reflections in the lens off external light sources such as neon lights, flashlights, or mirrored surfaces.
