Yes even though I love turkey. My father in law cooks a spread which includes.. turkey, ham, filet mignon, pork shoulder, and sometimes a chicken. Collards, mac and cheese, corn, green beans, some kind of potato, bread, and several different cakes and pies. No, there are not alot of people there. Normally just 9 or 10 of us.. 3 being small kids. I have gone several years witout touching the Turkey... the filet is awsome!!

we one year we had Ham and Lasagne , because my sil burnt the turkey and we had to toss it.

you dont necessarily have to eat turkey on thanksgiving - the main reason for the holiday is to give thanks for what you do have in your life and if you choose to eat meatloaf or salad then so be it. :)

I had Prime rib back in 99. My poor husband suffers, turkey bothers his stomach and he still cooks it for my son and I. He is a good one. :)
