Enabling Javascript....did all as instructed.....?

Question

Under IE, tools, internet options, security tab, custom level, enable java applets under scripting, java permission enabled, advanced tab....check all 3 under microsoft VM.....all applied....restart........
Still receiving javascript error....duh duh??
