Well, it is a fact that the Bears have the easiest schedule based on their opponents 2005 records. That is not debateable. They probably also have one of the easiest schedules based on their 2006 opponents records (I don't know if anyone has done the math for all teams, but the Bears opponents are combined below .350 winning percentage).
And yes, the Giants were really beat up on the defensive side, but that doesn't explain Eli having 99 yards passing and 2 interceptions. The Bears defense just stopped him cold. Why Leinart could pick them apart at will and Eli couldn't hit the side of a barn I have no idea. But they stopped the Giants offense pretty much cold, even though Tiki had some great yardage.
They have moved up a few spots in my eyes, but I still don't think they could beat any of the 3 top teams in the AFC. We'll see in a couple of weeks.

Let me start by saying that the Bears are the best team in the NFC, however, I belive that if they had a tougher schedule overall they would likely have 1 or 2 more losses with their inconsistant offense. If they struggled like they did early in the Cardinals game against a "real" team, that would have been a loss. Either Michigan or Ohio State could have a winning record if they were in the NFC north.

bears defense is the best in the nfl..hands down..their offense though..shaky..to say the least...they beat a giants team that was missing strahan, osi, arrington, luke p, madison, amani..tiki got hurt early...all those guys i just named might be better than the best player on the bears team...bears have not had a difficult schedule at all...bears will not win the nfc championship..will not win the superbowl...their team is overrated as a whole...comeon, if they have trouble beating arizona and cant score an offensive TD..you know you arent that good

I'm one of the many that think the Bears have an easy schedule. However, I will give you guys your dues. You beat up a good Giant team. Good luck in your next 2 games.
Maybe we'll see you in the Superbowl. GO BRONCOS!

the hester return is what broke the giants spirit, after that happened it looked like they just stopped playing, and the bears didn't quit when they were behind. the giants are just a bunch of sore losers and didn't even try to come back. hopefully the bears will make it all the way to the super bowl this year, cause with this team, they should be this years champions

Beating the giants was a big step. If they can win 1 of the next 2 games everyone will KNOW they are the team to beat in the NFC. Their schedule is no weaker or stronger than anybody Elise's.
