Large acorns average 13.7 grams when they fall. Small ones average 9.8 grams when they fall. Of what use can this information be?

What a nutty question! I don't know how much they weigh, but it's not very much. To some extent it is going to depend on the size of the acorn, but I'll bet it takes 4 to 10 to make an ounce, depending on their size.
