It is Russell Watson, who sang the cheesy theme from Star Trek: Enterprise and has struggled for respectability in the classical world. There may also be an Australian with the same nickname but Russell Watson has it here. Michael Buble and Bono are not British.

I know that back in the day the singer from free and bad company Paul Rodgers was called the voice and he's English. I hope that helps.
