what's wrong with being proud of who Iam? Can somebody call me a tribalist for loving my tribe so much? Is that not being myself coz I cannot change from being a Kikuyu from Kenya?

Hey you... nothing wrong at all! I'm Kenyan as well, tena from Kisii... (ushago hehe!!). I love being a Kenyan in the UK... and I know lotsa Kenyans who are quite proud of Kenya and their tribe... be it a Luo, Kipsigis, Luhya... or like you, a Kyuk. Beeee happy! And no, you're not really a tribalist. Ok maybeyou are... I've just looked up the definition of "tribalist" in Google... one of the meanings is "strong sense of loyality towards one's tribe." So in that case... mimi na wewe we're both tribalists. In the good sense. And Kenya RoCkS! =)

No-one can call u a tribalist 4 loving ur tribe so much, and nothing wrong with being proud of who u r... just remember that u r African first and foremost, then Kenyan, and the tribal divisions should not matter so much coz we r one people. Like I always say, I'm African not because I was born in Africa, but because Africa was born in me! KWISHA !!!

Hi, I am a black woman from America, and it is OK to love your tribe; but you should NOT hate other tribes. I get very upset to see Africans going to war with people just because they are of different tribes.
We are ALL HUMAN BEINGS, and God loves us ALL--no matter what tribe we are.
We should LOVE EACH OTHER..
