You can if it's a motor home.
I lived in one for three months while travelling from England to Thailand, and the freedom was just fantastic.

absolutely nothing stopping you living in a car,its a free country isnt it,its better than a cardboard box

It gets really cold in a car. Unless you keep the engine on, which, if you're sleeping, is downright dangerous.

You'll get terrible backache trying to sleep in there, and the sanitation facilities are awful...
