No Kelly isn't dead. The rumor began when she was about to hold a concert in Indonesia. The concert was cancelled because the area where she was to perform had been bombed. The rumor goes on to insist that she had held her performance and was thereafter killed in the bombing. These allegations are, however, false.

If you're referring to her career, you are also off base with that.
Admittedly she has not release an album in a few years but
her new album "My Story" will be in stores February 2007.
She has been involved in a lot of other musical projects, including guest vocals on other albums and television work

no Kelly ain't dead. i called the local radio station and they said that was a bunch of bull and they don't know how or why this rumor got started. plus...if she was...don't you think that it would have been all over TV like Aaliyah or all over the radio like Gerald LeVert?

I don't believe she's dead unless I would have heard it on ''BET'' or MTV or another television station something! but if she is all hell is gonna break loose and the world would have to mourn a beautiful person from destiny child's!
