I know a few people that were over 21 when they got theirs, if you can take a bus,train or get someone else to drive then why bother getting a drivers license ?

Up to the individual, its not everyones need to have a drivers license. My partner is 32 and he dont want one, why should he when he got a chauffeur is his answer.

I think it depends on where you live. If you are in a metropolitan area with a lot of easy public transport, then I would think its common. If you live in the middle of a suburb with no public transportation, then I would imagine its rare.
