I recently read that they do not have knee caps when they are born, but I think they start to develop at around 7-8months. I'm not a professional though, so don't take my word as Gospel.

No new Born's do not have knee caps. Even though they have the cutest and fattest little legs. babies don't develope then until they are close to 2 years. I guess you can say God blesses them not to have any damage while learning to crawl and walk.
If you ever have the oportunity to feel a babies leg you will notice it is all mussle, fat, and cartilige.

All printed above me are incorrect, children are literally not born with knee caps, in the adventure that they were they could be able to help themselves on their very personal legs a lot faster. they actually initiate to advance later on. they initiate are a kind of cartilage.

As far as I know. They have cute little knees so they are bound to have knee caps otherwise they wouldn't be able to bend their legs.
