You know what is the funniest thing about this question - that people are dumb enough to take it that serious that they come on here asking if he's a pedophile or saying he's an *** hole.
Can you not see he is just messing ?!
And yes as you ask they are for putting down to use as a mattress - as if you needed to ask that !

The main point of having children I think, apart from the obvious one of keeping the human race from becoming extinct, is to provide people (parents, mainly) with one of life's ultimate challenges.
I believe that raising children can quite probably be the single hardest challenge for any adult (especially if they try and do it right), as however well you raise them they will still be flawed individuals, as adults, often with faults that the parent never had themselves. So they are faced with the experience of doing their best and it still not being good enough. This often poses questions to the adult about themselves and their personal cutlure that they assumed was normal.
In short: I believe children offer another opportunity for growth and wisdom to parents and those adults that have relationships with them.
Even shorter: children are just another example of how life requires death of the old and birth of the new (e.g. children)

Well, apart from making one feel proud as a parent (and grandparent) they are a great excuse for you doing all those things that childless adults wish they could. Scalectrix, Meccano, glove puppets (I love my Foxy), toy soldiers, birthday parties (proper ones with jelly and ice cream), train-sets and dollies.... Oh what it would be like to be preteen and know what I do now. Kids do all that for you.

I'm a parent, and a happy one. But I'll bypass the "Children are Gawd's window ..." **** in this answer.
Try this scenario.
"Why y'all goin' out with that (x)? Don't you know y'all goin' be trashed?
"No! We're in love! We're sharing genesd! Including yours, Mama! Here, have this pamphlet on Mendelian averages!"
Lesson: The potential of babies helps us explain casual sex to our parents. Sometimes, anyway.

To look after you in your old age.
I have just re-read your question, you pervert. Get off answers, most of us will put up with some of the filth that goes around. But NONE of us will put up with your sort of filth.
