From what you are saying, I can guess that you are trying to browse the net from a University/Work/Library etc. If so, there is a central proxy that filters certain web sites.

If you really need to access these websites one option is to contact the administrator and explain him why you need to access that web site and he may give you permission.

Alternatively you can access these sites from inside some other sites, that provide this service such as

http://www.guardster.com/
http://www.shadowsurf.com/
http://www.shysurfer.com/
http://anonymouse.org/anonwww.html
http://www.anonymizer.com/

Some of these sites might be blocked as well, but chances are that one of these will be open!

Blocked Sites

Be careful which sites you access there are some nasty ones out there!

Depends on how they are blocking you, if it is by certificate you need the certificate, if it is password you need the password and if it is blocked by your corporate firewall stop trying to access it.
