Does anyone else think that Simon stitched Nikita right up by giving her totally cr@p instantly forgettable songs to perform so that she would get voted out as he knew that given the right material she would have been competition for his favourite Leona who he thinks is more marketable.There I've said,It's out there and I feel a whole lot better...

i think she is way more marketable than the lad she lost out to, i mean he only sings a certain genre of songs good and as far as im concerned she was gorge and i think she will sell a lot more singles/albums than that lad will ! its really annoyed me she lost out to him!

Now you have said that you might have a point. But really even if Leona got voted out this week we all know that she will have a recording contract in January, so really i dont think nikkita was stiched up, i just dont think Simon focused enough on her.

I agree. Why cant they let them choose their own songs? Ok, give them a category but then let them choose their own songs within that category. Poor Nikita didnt stand a chance on Saturday. Its the same with Ashley. I thought he was really good but why oh why was he given probably the worst Abba song in history to sing?

Well, i thought about this and remembered what Nikita said last week, she said she chose her own song and went against Simon's choice. Also, surely she had some say in her outfit's, she dressed too old for her age, she should have been more funky. So i dont think it was all his doing.

I completely agree with you. Simon definately stitched her up. I also think on Sat. he kept Ray in just to annoy Sharon and Louis.
PS. To the one who mentioned Girls Aloud. They were formed out of Popstars! The Rivals (definatley NOT X-Factor)alongside One True Voice and it was Girls Aloud that went in at number 1 when One True Voice went in at number 2.

I hope you feel better now after that!!! I just think if she was that good she could have made the songs work for her and given a better performance and a lasting impression at least one of the weeks!

No I don't think Nikita was quite as good as the other contestants.It is a bit like comparing a football match between Chelsea and watford.

I think the judges have their faves from day one, the rest are just fillers. I think Simon had his hopes pinned on ashley and thats why Louis got rid. Its a fix anyway, girls aloud were selected before the show even started.
