Everyone is correct. And I can not remember their names but several football players have been drafted into the NFL and came back to play after their service commitments.

I did find this article listing players

At the start of your 3rd year, 1st day, you are then committed to serve in the Air Force for 5 years after you graduate. If you go 2 years, then switch to another school, no problem. This applies to any of the Military Academies. Even if you are drafted by the NFL, you service commitment comes first.

You have to serve a minimum tour of duty. Navy had Roger Staubach do the same thing before he could play for Dallas, so you might have to wait a couple years before playing in the NFL.
