I've done a lot of remodels and most cupboards have screws at the top (usually inside the cupboard) that you must take out and there are usually some on the bottom under the cupboard you have to take out depending on the size about 4-6 screws, just unscrew them and lift up and your cupboard should come off the wall.

They also forgot to mention to get some help when removing the cupboard from the wall - they are very heavy and normally require two people to lower to the ground ! Oh, and empty them first !!

Normally all the carcases are held together with screws which can be very hard to get at. If you take the top off first it makes the job a lot easier

It all depends. How old is it? Is it a custom built or did you buy it from Menards. If it is form Menards you can take it apart you just won't ever put it back together.
You have to look at it and see how it is put together and go from there.

You have sound advices from them already
But they forgot to tell you to mark every piece out before dismantling
Use chalk or better still stick some tape and indicate its position
left, right, top, bottom, internal or external facing
Happy reinstalling if you mark them out right and in sequence
