Bulgarians, Greeks, Romanians, and Serbians are mainly dark. Half of the population has skin pigment ranging from light brown to olive. Than the other half of the population have pinkish white skin of Central Europe. Why is it the half that are mainly dark are considered to be of the caucasian (white) race? I don't seem to understand all this.

Caucasian has nothing to do with being white. In my dictionary it defines caucasian as designating or pertaining to a division of the human race, supposedly typified by early inhabitants of the caucusus, which includes the chief races of Europe, northern Africa, southwestern Asia and by migration north and south America. Confusing isn't it?
