For me, it's a country song called, "The Best I Ever Had" and I'm not even sure who sings it, because I'm not really into country music. But hearing this song makes me think of someone who used to be very special to me, and I let him get away, and now he's married and I'll never have another chance with him.

Makes me want to crawl under the covers and cry........

Instant depression:
Nothing Else Matters by Metallical. My husband and I had that at our wedding, and since things aren't good right now, it saddens me.

And just FYI: Don't Fear the Reaper was (I believe) originally done by Blue Oyster Cult, not HIM. If not Blue Oyster Cult then they covered someone else. But it is definitely a lot older than HIM.

Oh dear, that sounds so bad. The one song I can't bear to hear is Sheherazade by Rimsky-Korsakov. It used to be my granddad's favourite when he was very ill, before he passed away. This song made him feel a bit comfortable, so that was good, but I can't hear it because it reminds me of his suffering.

Whenever i hear "I'll be missing you" by Puff Daddy I get really upset because that was the song played at my brother in laws funeral after he committed suicide in 2002.

I bet your guy was one of those you wanted to be 'just friends' with and you loved him 'like a brother' and then someone snaps him up and you suddenly find out that he has the most amazing long lashes......been there done that.

Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight". That was my ex-fiancee's favorite song. When she died I threw the CD away.

To me it's "I can't tell you why" by the Eagles. It hurts because I never told my Mom how much she meant to me before She passed away.
