No, it's completely normal. Everybody would choose a better-looking person against the other.
But if you get someone know better, it won't matter after a while the way he/she looks.

YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!! So what if they're not that good looking? Are you all that and something else too? You need to see beyond the physical appearance of someone (yourself too?) and find out what's inside. Some of the most beautiful people in the world aren't that attractive but they do have a heart and soul bigger than the whole outdoors.

If this is your only reason for not going out with someone, then I would consider them lucky, you probably don't deserve them.

You should go out with someone based on whether you like spending time with them. It 's a bonus if they're good looking. Be careful, some good looking people can be shallow too. Do you think a person would be shallow not to date you because your looks are not up to their standards? Bottom line though - Date whomever you want.

Of course it's shallow. Basing your opinion of a person on what's on the outside is always shallow. Whether it's skin color, hair color, eye color, weight, height, or anything else, it doesn't mean anything about who they are on the inside.
The most beautiful person on the world might be a real jerk on the inside. The ugliest person could have a heart of gold. You should be looking at what's beneath the surface before you make a judgment about someone.
