It is easy, just follow these steps.

1. Launch the web browser that you use.
2. On the top menu bar click on Help.
3. Click on the About menu.
4. It will tell you both the name of the Internet Browser and also its version.
5. Later you can also check using a search engine like Yahoo or google wether it is the latest one or not.

got to help then "about internet explorer". it will definitely do. if u don't get it by that then on the icon of internet explorere select properties
