I am looking for a size 6 knee length skirt for my great-aunt. She is very frail and has arthritis and hence can't do buttons up, so it must also have an elasticated top. M&S do one but they no longer have size 6 and are not re-ordering more. It has to be knee length as she keeps tripping over longer ones, which is very dangerous for someone so frail.
I have tried most High-Street retailers with no success - they are either too long, have zips or just don't have a size 6.
Many thanks.

Bon Marche cater for senior citizens and have nice clothes that do not look fuddy duddy.
Since you have a computer try the www. nightingales website. They also do them, but I am not sure about the size.
A high street shop that caters for teenagers is more likely to stock size 6.
But I would try J.W.Williams (mail order company). They have a huge range of sizes and I know for sure that they sell elasticated waist skirts. I have two in my wardrobe.
Good luck!

Most mail order catalogs, like Blair,Hanover etc have pull on
skirts XS or S would be a 6. Some of those small catalogs that come in the mail (not ordered).

I have also seen them at K-mart (Basic Editions) or Target
(Cherokee) and Wal-Mart. .

It takes searching, but they are there.

Good luck

www.marksandspencer.com

Order online and they will ship it to your house. They have a selection of elasticated skirts and trousers which all have a short fitting and also in a size 6.
