I have had sore/sensitive nipple for 2 days now, people say that sore breasts are a sign of pregnancy but its not my breasts it is just my nipples, is this also a sign of pregnancy? I am mid way through my cycle, what else could it be?

I get sore boobs about a week before I'm due on, then all the way through my period. I would'nt worry. It'll probably ease off soon.

If you are midway through your cycle, sensitive nipples can be a sign that you are ovulating. I used to have that regularly, it just lasted for about 4 days at that time of the month.
(And I didn't experience it during any of my three pregnancies.)

one of my freinds used to suffer from sore breasts and found that it was a reaction to the hormones in cows milk! Try cutting this out of your diet to see if the soreness subsides.
She has since had a baby and can now drink the milk again without adverse effects which is a bit strange, but apparently allergies can change when you're pregnant due to the immune system's interactions with the foetus.
Ask your doc if they continue to be tender....

Just the nipples is a sign of pregnancy. Take a HPT.

hi yes you do get sore nipples in early stage of pregancy,as you body is going through some mega changes,they get sore due to the milk ducts and growing they will do throughout the pregancy,or it could be a bra that you are wearing could be rubbing your nipples and making them sore,to check if you are pregant you can get tests that works a few days before your period is due,hope this helps in some way

if you are menstruating/mid way through your cycle your changing hormones may cause you to get sore breasts and nipples, its quite common amongst us women, but if in doubt get a pregnancy test to make sure your not pregnant .

sometimes your breasts may become sensitive because of hormones - particularlty around the time of your cycle, so it could actually be because of your monthly cycle. I would suggest that if it persits, (ie longer than a week) to go to your GP. But like i say - it is completely normal!!!

Well if its the nipple,i think your pregnant! Have you been trying to become pregnant? is yes,then most likely you are. It sucks when you have to wait another 2 weeks to find out for sure. But good luck anyway!!!!

Yes It is a sign...My breast have been sore for a week now and I took a hpt and it came back I am going to have a baby I am so happy.Good luck hun.
