I am studying in class-XI(PCM).I want to know that what are the
various national level entracance exams for engineering
(like iitjee,aieee) in which I can appear.Please tell me that can I sit
in state level entracance exams of other states(in which i don't live.)
or not.

I DO NOT KNOW FROM WHERE YOU ARE IN SPITE OF IIT AND AIEEE YOU CAN APPEAR CET OF ALL THE STATES AS IN PUNJAB IT OF PUNJAB TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY ALSO IN UP IT UP SEAT. IN SPITE OF THAT RELIANCE IS ALSO TAKING TEST FOR ENGINEERING BIT ETC.

See you can participate in a state level exam of other states in which you don't live,even in private entrence exams of reputed colleges.all you would then need is a migration certificate and then you can study in a college not in your home town . By the way AIEEE is also too good in comparence with IIT ,it also provides high earning packages and chance to go abroad,so if you are not shure of clearing IIT then you should totally concentrate on AIEEE.
India's fourth best college is NIT-WARANGLE and several other NITs rank in top 10.

You may get admission to other state colleges based on your AIEEE Score.Check with various state technical board web sites.You have to apply at least.
As i know maharashtra allows other state candidates.
M.P.ALllows other state candidates and same is true for KArnataka.
