creativity flowers when there is peace and happiness around you.
mind should be free of all worries and engaged in creation only.
When there is no stable government, no social security, there is always the threat of war there can be no creativity except weapons of destruction.

I think it is true that fear destroys creativity.
It just might be a fact that fear has destroyed great creativity in all sorts of fields and this might include Yahoo Anwers as well as other things.
It is possible that if people knew about these things they might get a surprise.
Sometimes it can't be overcome and then it is true that a person is going to die with his knowledge.
If a person were to know more than people realise and he cant show that then it could be one of the most tragic things.

Creativity is about taking chances and trying new things. The first attempt rarely works; the secret is to keep exploring.
Fear can either motivate or hamper a person's willingness to take those chances. It can destroy creativity. OR it can give impetus to it.
Some of the world's greatest art has come out of war or despair, Guernica and The Scream are just two. During the Holocaust, some of the imprisoned and tortured Jews formed music organisations to keep their spirit alive. They proved that creativity can still happen in the worst situations.
