80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.

Coming to life was not our decision, we could not stop that, once we get life, we just have to follow the natural way of living, like everybody lives... go to school when you are child.....get married and settle down when you are young....suffer the old age and then die to bring end to what was life for us.......
Yes today people have started to think, what is the purpose of life, today they don't want to just go on bringing children after children without thinking, A lot of thinking has changed now a days. But those who are already born in this world are having life and will have to live till there death, they can try to make their life better, may be by hard work or by better luck etc etc........
You live because you have no choice.

Changed? It depends on how you look at it.
Do you mean lifestyle change? Technological and
scientific breakthroughs? Moral decline? Spiritual growth? Life span?
One may die as hero, a villain, an ordinary person or victim. The meaning behind one's life depends on how optimistic or pessimistic a person looks at it and actually live it and whether he has found someone or a reason to make it worth living.
Because each is unique, we will have different answers. That is why a lot of religions stemmed from this same question.

Thing's it's not:
a. A Journey
A Journey to where may I ask?
b. Sex.
c. Knowledge
If this were so, life's objective can be achieved with the click of a remote.
So what is it?
Love. Life's purpose is to pursue at and accomplish what makes you feel good, what you love. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU LOVE, as long as it is full of good will.

everyone has their own opinion of meaning of life... everyone is different therefore everyone has a different meaning of life.. some people have family others money and others religion.... just be happy that's what i say. Don't be a jerk to others and be happy :) it's amazing how problematic people make themselves.. it's sad. IT's not really hard being happy.. it really isn't... but yea i really don't want to get into this i could definitely go on and write way more.. but i think it's pass my bedtime and right now the meaning of life for me is sleeping good and getting rid of the heartburn i have with a teaspoon of baking soda and drowing it with water ...

You are a hueman being, spirit, unconditional love,a being of light, made ii the image and likeness of God,your purpose is Being.you should simply do what is before you to do,offering all to the service of God and all he has created. All things are but God expressing his (purpose)vision of himself. Humanity has and is evolving in the way we relate to and communicate with God.But the purpose and meaning of life remain the same.

the meaning is to make yourself and other people around you happy. everything that you do gives you some sort of utility (happiness units... don't ask, that's how economists call it). even if you hurt someone, you do it because you find some utility or satisfaction out of it. people don't do irrational things; everyone thinks that what they do is right or has a purpose. so make someone else happy.

Meaning of Life is devided in 2:
1. finding the Meaning of your Life.
2. doing it.
Both steps are different from person to person and just a product of our imagination.
sad isn'it?

that is way too personal and subjective... i believe there is no general meaning to lives, as well as there is no pre-defined meaning... it is what you should find out or its better to say decide...
never late though!
