You need to talk to someone about this - there are various options open to you and you need to discuss these and work out what's best for you. Abortion shouldn't be taken lightly, but please don't listen to anyone trying to emotionally blackmail you one way or the other - it's more important to do what's right for you. Can you tell your mother or an aunt or someone? They might be angry to begin with, but they'll want what's best for you too. The really important thing here is to get help as soon as possible. Go and buy yourself a pregnancy test today - and find someone you trust and talk about it. All of us here can only take the information from the question, and there's a whole lot more in your life to consider. Good luck sweetheart - I'm sure it'll work out in the end. PS. If you're NOT pregnant, PLEASE sort out reliable contraception for yourself.

Hi,
I was in this situation at the age of 17, It was not an easy decision to make but it is one I will have to live with for the rest of your life whichever way you decide.
The decision has to be yours and no one elses as it is you who has to live with what you decide.
If you do decided that now is not the right time for you to have a baby then make sure you have someone you trust with you when you visit the Dr, I actually went to the Family Planning Clinic and spoke to a nurse there and she was really supportive.
I know I made the right decision but I still think about it often.
The decision is yours

Its up to you what you do. Make sure that the decision you make is thought out and in the baby's interests. You'll get by if you do go through with it. If you've got plenty of family support, that will help you a lot. But it's your life and don't feel under pressure to go one way or the other. Find out about groups and support for teenage mums in your area. Chat to young people who've gone through it and come to your own conclusion. It's a tough one! Good luck with whatever you decide.

You did not say how old you are, which makes it a little difficult to answer your question. if you say you are to young to be a mother, then you were probably to young to start having sex. If you thought you were grown up enough to have sex, you must stand for your consequences. But good luck in making your decision. I was 15 when I fell pregnant and my daughter will be 9 on the 31 December. she really is a joy to have.

You need to make this descion yourself its sensible to finish your education and get a job before attempting to raise a child equally it can be extremely stressfull. But there are options of adoption aswell as abortion. First you need to find out if you are pregnant go to a doctors and get a test. Then make the descion with consoltation of doctors and your family dont go through it all alone if you do turn out to be pregnant as it wont be good for your mental health. If you are going to have an abortion its always better to have it before 12 weeks as on the nhs this is more accesible and a less painful procedure
If you believe you are pregnant then it is important to remember to protect yourself go on the pill, and always use condoms so you dont get this situation again. You dont need your parents there to get yourself fully protected but it is usefull to talk to your parents when you are having sex so they can help you in these situations. I know it sounds scary i was terrified at 16 telling them that i was sexually active but i found it incredibly helpfull as my mum talked me through what protection to get after i was allergic to the pill , bought me condoms etc .
Hope everything goes well think hard about your descion

I don't know how young (or old) you are. But, you need to sit down and have a serious talk with your mom. You need to level with her and ask for her help/ advice and actually LISTEN to her.
Remember, the best way to keep from getting pregnant is not to screw around in the first place. Otherwise, use a condom next time.

I think people are answering your question just to get points...if they took a moment to look, you are answering questions on dog training, newborns, and marriage and divorce, so I suspect u r just seeing how people respond to you? Nice one hehe, but I'm sure you're old enough to have a baby. I had my little girl when I was 19, preggers at 18, people can call me a **** if they want, but i am still wit the dad in a nice house, havin the time of my life.
Have fun hehe

its up to you.. can you provide a good home and life for this baby.. you could consider abortion or adoption.. I would go to your nearest family planning clinic make an appointment and sit and discuss all your options with them .. they are un biased - (unlike everyone on yahoo answers who have there own opinions about abortion, teen mums and adoption... )
what ever the out come make sure you feel comfortable
with it..
good luck

If your old enough to have full sex than you are old enough to get pregnant.
Go to a family planning clinic - they won't tell your parents if you don't want them to. They are the best people to talk to.
Please be careful taking advice from the answers you'll get here as they will be generally helpful but unqualified - you need proper advice from trained people who will do all they can to help you make the best desicions for you.

It doesn't really matter how old you are it's how you feel about having a baby. Have a good think about it. Talk to people about it. Write down the pros and cons of having a baby. That might help.
