jaqueline,I have experienced many things that prove I lived before i had this body and i will live after it is Gone. Jaqueline you are the life of the body,Spirit , and you will continue to live after the body is Gone. Why should I care what you believe?? I do because we are one with God in unconditional Love. Because of this unity with God i can experience some of the event in my past lives, and by letting go of my personnal sense of self i can experience the life of anyone at any time. I don't mess with this because it is for me to Live in the "now" without looking back,it just pulls one down.

These are the questions asked from the beginning of mankind. No
answer with proof can be given. If we believe The Bible or Hindu scripture Geeta, man is a soul with body. The soul cannot be destroyed and is for ever, the body can be changed.Life on earth is only part of the long journrey of soul.So we do not know from where we have come or where we are going. The resurrection of Jesus after crucifixation, makes it clear that there is life after death.
Past life regression exercise is done under experianced people. It is some sort of hypnotism.I had undergone it and according the perception I got,I was a small king somewhere inHimalayan Kingdome/Nepal and was cruel. But it cannot be proved.
Even after the death, entire body doesnot perish,if herditary principles are true, some part of ourlife is passed on to coming generation.Surely death is not the end of life.

I don't think that there is a heaven or hell or that there is such a thing as re-incarnation or some weird sort of spirit world. Also, theories that we are all part of someone's dream or that the whole universe exists on a speck of dirt under some greater being's fingernail are just crazy.
Like other animals on this planet, our main reason for existing is to ensure the continued survival/evolution of our species. In one sense, we do live on after we die - in the genes that are inherited by our children, and although increasingly diluted in our childrens' children and our childrens', childrens' children etc.
I believe that when we die, we go back to the same state that we were before we were born. We simply do not exist. I don't worry about what was happening before I was born and I don't particularly worry about what will happen after I die. I think that it will be like a deep, dreamless sleep - a bit like what we experience most nights.

Your molecules return to the random nothingness from whence they came.
Fact: the human race has been around for hundreds of thousands of years.
Fact: the concepts of an afterlife, of gods, spirits, etc. have only been around for a few millenia.
Fact: these concepts were invented and promulgated by ignorant barbarians as an attempt to explain the world around them, before there was a such thing as science or epistemology.
While it might be nice to see our dead relatives when we die and to think we'll live an eternal life of bliss, without proof....its just fanciful thinking.
Can you find your long lost ones in the 106 billion souls that have ever walked the earth... And do we get to count the millions of other hominids that became extinct, such as the Neanderthals, or do they get their own heaven and hell.

The only thing we know for certain is that our hearts stop and eventually, we turn to a pile of ashes or dust. BUT that is ONLY our physical aspect. We are greater in spirituality, good or bad. This is NOT physical, it is energy which is neither created nor destroyed- it just continues on and on. That is my essential conception of "eternity" that all the religions speak of. I think our bodies are mere vehicles through which our actions/behaviors over time develop our spirits. To me, that's the point of "All This". We are cautioned not to get too caught up in the tangible experience (e.g. greed, lust, societal status) because at the end of the day, it definitely makes no difference. Our choices are what determine the next.

Such a little question and such a big answer needed!
The problem with this one is that no-one has come back to tell us, so it is just a matter of faith. Take your time, think things through, ask alot of people but please make your own mind up.
For my part, I believe that there is a part of us that exists in a way that we don't understand. This is what we call the soul. After death we are born again in the same body at the same time, in other words, we have to do it all over again until we reach a point of spiritual oneness with the universe through our actions. Scientists are now looking at other dimensions and a branch of quantum physics accepts this as a possibility.
The rest is up to you.

When you die, you'll be gone... There is nothing after you die... There is no such thing as life after death... Think about this, by the time we lose our consciousness and there is no way you can regain it, we could no longer think nor feel... That means, we are already dead... That is why, people in coma who just depend on respirator to live are already considered, dead... Because, they could no longer interact well using their brains...
Anyway, a brief thought why people would like to think that there is life after death is that, they simply fear death.. They must have felt that it is always better to live, because when they live, they can enjoy... Simply, humans fear to lose that enjoying... That's why they fear death... And because they fear death, they would like to think about life after death, so as to give them an assurance that they could live forever... enjoy forever...
I'd like to tell you, although I can say I am not sad, but I don't believe in life after death... Life was not given, it's an opportunity. We should accept the fact that we only live once and be contented with it... That's why I keep on telling that you should enjoy it rather than waste it...ü

Every individual has three bodies. The physical, Astral and Causal. In death the individual goes out of the physical with his other two bodies and his consciousness intact. When he reenters another physical body the consciousness is intact. But during the birth pang the old memories are obliterated. But the character gets retained. This is the cause of different behaviour of children brought up under same conditions. Some times(rarely) the old memory awakens when the individual can recollect his old life.

Who cares, no one will know anyway. Whether its religion or your own belief its down to the individual. One thing is for sure we will find out one day! There are more interesting things to do in life than worry about what happens after death!
