Let's see:
First never mind the smart arses round here! now about the turkey....
Remove the giblets and neck, there may be parts on both ends. I wash throughly in cold running water until it doesn't look bloody.
Hold turkey a*rse side up, legs apart. you can use one hand of course. If someone can hold the bird as does my brother, then you can put in the stuffing, as does my sis in law.
Failing that, you can get it stuffed with it on its side, but it is easier if it is on end.
The other rule is not to pack too tightly because it will expand as it absorbs juices.
It will also help if you put the turkey on a clean sheet of paper or something, so that extra bits can clean up or be used easily.
The gloved hands thing is okay, but my mum didn't, and one can use a large spoon.
Lastly, tie the legs a bit if you want, or wire up.
and of course, clean all surfaces with antibacterial soap.
Have a happy bird stuffing party.

I usually get some sausage meat and mix an egg into that and mix it together with my hands (very messy). I then push the skin back from the neck so that the sausage meat lies on the breast part of the turkey. I stuff the turkey inside with stuffing (there are a variety of packet stuffing) usually I go for the Sage and Onion stuffing. I then get some streaky bacon and lay it across the turkey making sure I place a strip on each of the legs. I then wrapped the Turkey in tin foil and place in the oven about Midnight on Christmas eve. I put the oven on a very low heat Gas Mark 2 or 3 and Electric about 125 and go to bed. If I wake in the night I will pop down to check it, but usually I check at about 8 am on Christmas Morning. The Turkey will be so tender and moist it that the legs will be falling away from the Turkey. Take out of the oven and allow to cool. Use the Turkey juice when you make the gravy. You will have the most delicious Turkey dinner ever. Happy Christmas.

Gloves are good and so is box stuffing. If you want make your own stuffing, you get a loaf of bread and leave it out of the bag to dry. Then get a cup of water and sage. Other seasonings and onion can be added. Tear the bread into pieces in a bowl, then add in the sage and water and mix together. Stuff into a turkey that you have clean out (removing the giblets and rinsing it off with water).

I always cook my turkey in a cooking bag. The cooking bags can be found down isle where plastic wrap and foil is.

Put the bag in a dish big enough for the turkey, then place the turkey in the bag and stuff it. Add 1 cup of water into the bag and tie shut. Depending on the oven it will cook between 2 to 3 hours. Gives moist turkey and excellent dressing.

firstly remember to take the giblits out.

secondly if you are ising sauage meat amongst your stuffing. then id really recomend that you cook stuffing balls seperatly, as when place inside the turkey this often does not cook propery. baste the turkry well to prevent it from burning. place stips of streaky bacon on the top od the turkey and on the legs and wings as this will prevent them from also burning.

thore out throughly before cookng and place on a low heat, i tend to put mine in the oven to cook on christmas eve. and then check it first thing christmas day

hope this helps

Wash your hands, remove the giblets, rinse out the turkey with cold water, and stuff it with stuffing that you prepared earlier. The instructions are on the box.

You can stuff the bird just before baking, but I always bake the stuffing separate
