This is a tough one. All depends on who you ask. I think logic is the truth about something that you perceive to be true based on personal experience and rational thought and reason.

You will get different logical answers due to the fact that people have different experiences and some can't use rational thought nor reason. But I would tend to agree with a logical answer as to what majority says is logic based on above stated facts of the truth.

Logic always starts with some Predicates or assumptions which are considered true (facts).

Logic then builds up other derived predicates or derived facts by the way of "inference".

Futher inferences can use one or more of the basic predicates or the derived ones.

This is how the logic works.

This is how the logic derives ... say .. "derived fact" or conclusions.

An example :

Basic Predicates :
Sam is 'A''s son.
Sam's mother is "Jennifer"
A is not Jennifer.

Inference :
1. Sam is 'A's son meahs A is one of the parents of Sam.
2. Though Sam's mother is "Jennifer", A is not "Jennifer"
3. So A is not Sam's mother
4 Hence A is Sam's father.

Derived predicate or "derived fact" or conclusion :

A is Sam's father.

Logic is simply the "IF" and "THEN"...
If there is water, then there should be oxygen...
If there is waste, then there should be something or someone who creates this waste...
But most usually, the use of Ifs and Thens as logic is somewhat a masterful task... There should be no misunderstanding... When you think about logically, it should be absolute.. Therefore, logic thinking cannot be broken...
