Dublin people are very open and friendly to everyone, really. Well, most of them are. However, they like other Dubs best and have their own in-jokes. Since the smoking ban came in we've had to smoke outdoors in the city pubs. Standing there in the cold, looking at people going by, gave me a sight of Dublin I'd never seen before. It looked as cold and anonymous as other cities. Its different in the suburban pubs where the smoking areas are so well designed that u can sit there for the night.

People in Dublin are extremely friendly.
I was there with a boyfriend, standing on the street, map unfolded, kind of lost and people actually stopped and asked us where we wanted to go and showed us the way.
Everyone is also in a very good mood, ready to share a joke or buy you a beer. Great!

Funny, warmhearted and kind, have recently made friends with a couple from Dublin and they are wonderful.

They seemed really friendly despite of what they are having
to pay for drinks , we did find however that most of the people
we met were immigrant workers , had a cracking time , try for
yourself.
