I have seen girls wearing these wraparound type tops that they say one needs a piece of material (about 1x1.7m) for. I just don't know how to wrap it- I think it ties around the neck. not sure if it crosses in front of the neck or not.
Can anybody help?

just make it into a halter neck top just tie it at the back of your neck and your lower back

yes it crosses in front of your neck. Start with the material across your back at about the same height your bra strap normally is, each end goes over one of your boobs, you cross it over in front of your neck and tie it at the back. If you're wearing this on it's own i'd suggest a broch at the bottom to keep the material together and prevent falling out.

fold the fabric in half length ways,start with the folded line at the back of neck ,cross over at the front and tie loosley at the back, or tie tightly to show more stomach.

yes... i came from the tropics and many tourist use sarong as their tops.... i think they just wrap it on their body then tie is behind their shoulder... as easy as that... but for us.. male uses sarong// we tie it around our waste.... very convinient!!!
