Loved the movie, maybe not the most convincing Scottish accent and possibly not completely accurate, which films are? It's entertainment after all but I'm English and by the end of the movie I was cheering for the Scots so I have to say job well done. Funnily enough same thing happened watching The Patriot maybe I'm just a traitor to my kind or typically English and support the underdog or most likely just enjoy Mel Gibsons movies.

No, I think Mel Gibson was made for the part. I've tried to think of another actor who would enjoy slughtering the English en masse, but I can't come up with anyone who hates us more than dear Mel.

i presumed it grew to become right into a solid action picture and greater precise than Jane Porter's novel "The Scottish Chiefs" that has him die of a coronary heart attack on the scaffold and circumvent the tortures to which he grew to become into incredibly subjected by ability of Edward Longshanks. Wallace grew to become right into a brilliant of a guy lots greater than Mel Gibson. Rolf Moller could be concerning the main suitable length for the function.

If you really had to make a historically inaccurate, racial hatred inducing movie you could at least pick a proper Scot instead of an Aussie with a bad wig and an even worse accent. There's tonnes of Scottish actors who would have been much better.
