A man is innocent until proven guilty but i do have a feeling that this will be another case where the 4 so called accused will escape the punishment due to some technical issues during trial or it may seem. I have lost all the faith i had with this Government. They are charging Razak Baginda for the murder. I do not believe they will put him in jail. All the high profile cases in the country where a Top Government official are involved always ends on their side. This will be a big test for the new Inspector General of Police. He has shown himself to be tough so far, we'll just have to wait and see whether he is one of those Barisan National people. Have u seen the Highest Judges in Malaysia with Top Lawyers having drinks in clubs. And the best part is the judge will be residing a case at the Federal Court with the same lawyer as the counsel on one side. This happens and i've seen with my own eyes. The Prime Minister says he wants to eliminate corruption from the current Government, but who has he or his government charged/expelled so far? It's been 3 years. What a load of rubbish!!!! My votes for the coming elections will be for the Opposition. And for your info, i do not have any connection with any political parties, just a normal citizen.

One hopes that for the poor woman justice will be done and seen to be done. However, like in most countries, the powerful and well-connected are governed by a different set of laws. If previous high profile murder cases are anything to go by, my fear is that she might not have justice - I hope I am wrong. Recently, two prominent persons were cleared of murder charges - one for killing a young boy from the PR of China and another for killing a young man in Sabah. There have been other similar examples of 'exoneration' of serious crimes committted by the rich and powerful. For the case involving this Mongolian woman, the main culprit is extremely close to the top people in Government and he is amongst the top of the Malay intellengensia.

This reminds me of what President Suharto once said, 'Give the people cheap rice & sugar & they will be contend' in response to questions regarding the government subsidy. Then when his government ran out of money & could not subsidize it anymore, there was wide spread riot and he was kicked out of office for corruption.
Bottom line is, as long as the people of Malaysia get their 5% economic growth, the system feeding the Malays with special rights, the papers printing what the government wants you to read, who really cares right?.
You get your daily food, religious direction & the majority wins, so what is there to ***** about?. At the end, the religious leaders will say she deserved it for leading a life that is far from Allah & in 3 months no one will remember.
You think after 50 years of brain washing, the people would stop crying so much....geeezzzzz

the man is guilty no doubt..he had a secret affair its his fault and when the truth was about to be revealed, he paniced and killed the poor girl.
He should be sentenced to prison for life, but knowing our Malaysia gov. they may just release him on bail (moreover he is so VIP) so kinda have "special privileges" for sentences. Like i heard when Anwar Ibrahim when he was in jail, he had his own library and TV in his cell..so go figure !!
