Not really... It's more like when a person is drowning in a pool of water they drink alot of water. However the water enter their lungs and fill it up with water because they are struggling to keep afloat and breath too. When the lungs got fill up with water they are not able to breath. This however doesn't apply on land.

You cannot drown from drinking water. When you drink water it goes into your stomach, you process it, and you excrete it. All things that are supposed to happen. When you drown, it is because you INHALED water (you breathed it in), the water entered your lungs, which prevented you from using your lungs to get oxygen, and you suffocated. Drink as much water as you want, just swallow it, don't breathe it in.

yes it is true. You can drown by drinking more water then your body can absorb. The water can drown each one or you cells.

You cannot drown but if you drink over 5 liters or so in a short period you could bring your electrolytes out of balance which could be quite dangerous.

I have heard somone say that but I don't think so. Your body is mostly made up of water and to keep healthy you need to drink about 8 pints of water a day.

think logic if you breath water you drown but if you drink water you peeeeeeeeee
