He now makes a ton of money and has met someone else and he says he will take care of me forever,

He has offered to take care of me forever and I think maybe he knows about Palimony.. I wouldn't take him to court.I was just curious if he knows he has to. I work also, so I think he is being fair. I just don't know anything about Palimony.

Palimony is something that's very hard to prove. Sometimes it takes a court case weeks and a ton of money that is never recovered unless your the attorney involved.

You'd better check with your court first, the legal department, to see if you can even file. After some courts thought it was utter nonsense to tie up the courts with nonsense cases they stopped taking them. Check first.

Men. ..............Yet another example as to why to get that pre-nup.

This guy will be ok as cali does not recognise common law marraige.

Why should you get his money? Did you not BOTH enjoy eachother company? Exactly what does he owe you and why?

Don't you wanna try and stand on your own two feet. It might sound scary...but how can you be sure he will take care of you forever?
