For bioethanol this SHARE is much lower, depending on the feedstock used. However, in the US, biodiesel is generally farther from competitive prices than is ethanol.

It reads, to me, that "share" represents the portion, that is, the 60-70%, and a much lower PORTION for bioethanol.

it seems that it would mean a fraction or part. Maybe like a share that you buy in the stock market? Because that is a fraction or part of the company. To share something means to divide it up and give peices to people. So, a share could be one of those peices. Hope this was helpful
