My relative was robbed while she slept staying in a local hospital last year. the person nicked her identity, now she has a bad credit reference. How low can people be ?

It's the same reason that these scum bags break into people's houses.

Your friend can contact Equifax or Experian to find out about her credit record, then she can put on a note of correction. If she has a case number from the police she can put this on the letter. This would mean that if she applies for anything, when her record will be viewed along with the correction.

Its because they know that people think that this type of thing wont happen to them in a place like a hospital. They are usually junkie scum bags who should be drowned.
