Fix a study time according to your freshness. Some people can study better early in the morning say between 5 am to 8 am.......as the body has rested full night and brain is fresh, you can concentrate. Some people like to take afternoon nap, and sit late night and don't feel sleepily as they slept in the afternoon. never force yourself to study.
One very important point. Don't just blankly by-heart the subject.....try to understand what you are reading, there is always a logic behind what we are studying, if you will understand what you are reading then it becomes very easy and interesting to study.
Fix a small amount of quota for a day...and be determined that this much you will finish today at any cost.......and see how you will start enjoying your studies.
Education is the only asset that will remain with you throughout the life and will help you to achieve a successful life so take it seriously and don't feel lazy.

It is a common problem with most of the students.

I think you also know the reason for this problem. You do not have any concept about the crucial problem that where to start and what to do?

The solution to this problem is present in the question. You prepare ‘what to do’ list, a sort of checklist. Such lists would be in a form of a table wherein you have to divide your syllabus of different subjects date wise.

In addition to that, you have to make a timetable for your daily hours of studies. It would be from the time you wakeup until the time you go to bed.

If you are fond of sleeping too much then you have to limit it to eight hours max a day, in nights only.

Early to rise would be quite useful for you for keeping you energized all through the day and fit for studies.

It's really a personal thing. If I'm completely focused on study, I lose focus very quickly, so I have some music playing in the background and a few webcomics open in another window so I can keep going for longer.

Other people I know work the best when they have absolutely no distractions.

Just try studying under a few different circumstances and see what works best for you.

hi
i am 32 today and i'd the same problem like you when i was in school and now when i look into my past,i really regret about my acedamic outcome.i should've tried a little more.i am telling you all this because now i've come to realize that the easiest way to establish yourself is through education.whether to earn money or command respect.put a little effort from your side too. to study hard sometimes you need the word called "self descipline"to inspire..make time table and follow it religiously, abide by it no matter what and i am sure you will go places.
today,as a motivated person, i am planning to join some private hardware institute and earn my living.this is my second inning and i'm not gonna waste it.
i hope this words of mine(based on me) will help motivate you study harder and make your parents proud. good luck.
go now...........don't waste your time here.

I have a similar problem and have found myself becoming more drowsy and less interested in working. The most effective way I have found to get around it is to work in 30 minute slots. Work really hard at one thing for 30 minutes then change activity. Keep things snappy and try some new study techniques to try to hold your interest and find something that works for you.

hi friend... i dont know wat u r studying... but still i can suggest u an idea.. u keep changing the subjects... for eg.. if u r reading science, and u feel boared after reading it for 10 min... u start studying social.. wich ll give u a relax... again u feel boared after 10 min or feeling sleepy...start working out maths... and likewise u can increase the duration...
one more suggession... dont always depend on same mode of studying.. change it... for eg.. sitting and studying.. walking and studying.. loudly reading it out... writing and learning..
wat ever u study... dont think tat u r studying for some others sake.. u r studying it for ur self...
b4 feeling boared and leaving up studies just think about ur parents, how much they love u.. wat they expect from u... how much they r spending on u... if u really love them, after thinking all these u can never feel lazy...
if u enjoy now, tomorrow the bad marks ll make u forget all ur enjoyment... and now if u work hard tomorrow the good marks ll make u forget all ur difficulties and watever hard work u have done to fetch it..
ur future is in ur own hands.. MAKE IT BRIGHT!!!!!!

well, what i do is i get a glass of water or make a cup of tea or something then read the thing out loud or get someone else to read it to you.
or you try this trick that this person told me to do, it is called 'the Alexander technique' or something strange. what you do is you sit up straight and look straight at the paper and focus on the things around it but don't look at those things. imagine that the images that you are looking at are sinking into your eyes and your eyes are sinking into your head.
i don't know if it will work, have a shot. <3 hope it helps =)

I would suggest the most likely cause is either over- tiredness, or you are being distracted (surroundings or thoughts).

From personal experience, I found earlier nights and clearing my mind of outside distractions, to be helpful.

Perhaps You sourrounding (people, not fresh air) bring it to You.
Try to keep Your learning live = going around, doing some sports, and then learn on.
After some time Your mind and Your will will prevail!
