I love grilled calamari as well as a nice roast chicken with roast potatoes.
But, you're right, nothing beats a good braai. We had one on Saturday for the Sprinbok game and it was great - boerewors and steaks that can't be matched anywhere else in the world! Pity about the rugby result though :-(

A braai with pap and sous and mielies in foil. Rump steak and boerewors and a large tossed green salad....yummy! Don't forget the biltong and droewors for snacking on while you wait for the meat to cook. Lekker...!!!

I like just about everything but do hesitate to eat certain things today that use to be tasty but I have lost my taste for it. My favorite style of foods is Japanese though. Having been station in Japan, I developed a taste for their style of cooking.
