give me views on the people voting for reality shows more than presidential elections

I think most of the domestic conflict starts through television. Spouses and kids spend too much time today in watching the idiot box than interacting with each other.Result a so invented generation gap. Parents dont know what thier kids think and kids dont know what is right and wrong.

Definitely most part is bad. May be only 10 % good. Further, useful quality time of families is taken away by these serials. Also they glorify many unwanted qualities as good, for example a lady or a man marrying many a times and leaving the families etc. They are bad for eyes too. Reality shows have their own share in spoiling the young generation by making them believe in easy money and pouplarity which is only a dream. But TV has got its roots embedded so much in society, it is very difficult to even lower its influence leave alone doing away with it.

TV gives kids a sense of what is normal. This is bad because in TV serials, the situation is often supposed to be so abnormal that it's funny. Young children may be influenced to think that these situations are actually normal.

yes due to these bledy TV serials housewives and kids are influenced on them. anyway the govt. shoul ban them.
