My best friend was tonight told that her brother who she hasn't seen or heard from in quite sometime committed suicide last week. She wasn't even told in time to attend the funeral. I have searched every where I can possibly think of. The only thing I have found was an "In Loving Memory" dedicated to him on a gaming page, and have been unsuccessful contacting the owner of the site: www.geocities.com/evilman302 (Pic of him and a poem...) How do I find out who posted that? Could it have been him before he actually took his own life? How can I find out information on his death? His name was Jeff Macaloney and his apparent death was last week in Saskatchewan, Canada. How can this not even have made the local paper? :( He has a 2 yr old nephew that he never even got to meet.... HELP PLEASE!

I am really sorry for your friends loss.
Is it possible his Obit might be in another paper, such as those for the cities below?

In Hamilton, Ontario
I found this on-line, is this him signing a book of condolences?

I really hope the person telling her..got the story straight..and I am sorry for you and your friends loss....
http://www.legacy.com/can-saskatoon/Obituaries.asp
this is a good site to run names it covers 300 us and canada obits....i ran the name and didnt find it however...the spelling may be different....then what you have listed..
also in some areas...they sometimes with hold obits for suicide cases either to protect privacy or in cases where their are investigations into the suicide.........you might even have your friend call the office that covers vital records for that area..im in us so not sure what they call the office their....
and in the end..she should demand some answers from her family about this...
she had a right to know when he died...where he is buried and all notices
as for the site..this page tells a tiny bit about how to find out who a site belongs to...
it may have very well been a friend of his who could provide more anwers about his death!!!

If his kin don't put an obit in the paper, how could it be there?
