I would like to buy a SUV next April. Can some one recommend which car to choose between Scorpio, Travera & Innova ? I have a family of 10 and would like to take this car for travel upto 500 km, once in every 3 months. Which model would be the most comfortable for rural and city rides, give best mileage and at the same time rugged enough and get good after sales service ? If specific model of these brands can also be given it would be better. The car must have AC & Heater for all weather.

First of all if you have a family of 10 then you need a train, not an SUV. Having said that, if you want to know about the best value for money SUV then I would eliminate the Innova, so you're left with the Scorpio and the Tavera. Between the two I would suggest the Scorpio for it is more rugged and is better for its off road qualities.

M&M has the cheapest and most widely available service amongst them all. It's mileage may be less than the Tavera, but it is easily more comfortable for 10 than the Tavera can hope to be. The innova is the best appointed on the inside, but is much more expensive than the other two.
I'd vote for the scorpio - has the best suspension and the most power.

Travera is good for city as well as highway driving. It gives a mileage of 15km/lt. the elite model is very good with gear shifting like a car. If happen to travel extensively on rural roads then go for Scorpio. It gives a mileage of 13km/lt.

i've been on both suv's. (unfortunatelly over 5 hours) and i'd rather be in a scorpio. cuz if ur over 5'5'' and ur sittin in the baq of a travera, ur head is gonna hit the roof if u go in a pothole(gutter)(and i have first-hand experience). but in the front its very confortable. the scorpio is very comfortable too and there's plenty of space in the back and the front. and u also get the good acceleration and speed in the scorpio.
