I seriously wrapped a kinda crappy toy for a nephew in a box of a much better toy without really even thinking about it untill he was opening it and thought it was what was on the box.
I kinda felt like shitt.

I don't think so. Bloomies has good gift boxes, and it is much easier to box a present in one of those than to wrap it.
