In your opinion, what is the most interesting Japanese prefecture, besides really popular ones like Tokyo and Kyoto? And why?

I would say Hokkaido just because it is a world within itself. It has a big city like Sapporo, which is one of the most interesting cities I've been to in Japan. There is also a lot of beautiful parks and mountains the area. I also like Hokkaido's culture and history.

In my opinion, it's Shizuoka Prefecture.
Why is it so?
It's because my favourite author is from Shizuoka Prefecture.

Nagoya...its where they send Toyota Ind. Equ. Man. Student Exchange Students for their anual summer trip...its awsome! realy great tourist stuff and beautiful sights too see!

Wakayama-ken, bc it's supposed to be beautiful.
Nagano-ken, bc the alps are there (also beautiful).
